In Relation — Mental Health Practice
Psychology and Psychotherapy Practice
The Practice
In Relation is a mental health practice where feeling stuck becomes something you can understand, work with, and move through. We offer thoughtful therapy for people seeking more clarity, steadiness, and choice in how they move through life.
Our Philosophy
Many of us do not struggle in isolation.
We struggle in relationship - with family, partners, work, culture, responsibility, memory, and ourselves.
Modern therapy often focuses on the individual nervous system: self-regulation, self-care, self-awareness, and self-healing. These matter. But they are not the whole story. We are relational beings.
At In Relation, therapy is not just about self-healing. It is about healing in relation.
We support you to move beyond simply managing yourself, toward building deeper steadiness, connection, and self-trust in the places where life actually happens.
Begin here

You may be here because
The same patterns keep repeating.
Holding everything together
You may look like you have it together, but inside you feel anxious, exhausted, disconnected, or quietly overwhelmed. What others see as capable may feel, to you, like constant managing.

Feeling responsible for everyone else
You may be the person others rely on, but find it hard to know where your own needs belong. You might feel responsible for everyone else's emotions, while feeling unsure who you are allowed to lean on.
Struggling to ask for support
You may struggle to ask for support because somewhere along the way, needing help started to feel like weakness, failure, or burdening other people.

Family guilt and obligation
You may love your family deeply, while also feeling weighed down by guilt, expectation, obligation, or things that have never been said out loud.
Caught between cultures
You may feel caught between cultures, roles, versions of yourself, or old rules about who you are supposed to be. Questions of identity, belonging, and home may feel more complicated than others realise.

Self-aware, but still stuck
You may already understand the language of attachment, boundaries, trauma, or nervous system patterns, but still find yourself reacting in ways you cannot seem to change.

In Relation offers a space to understand what keeps these patterns in place, and to begin creating more room in how you respond.
Where the process takes you
We help you work with what has felt hard to shift or hold through a mind body approach. Together, we move towards:
Clarity
Make sense of the patterns behind your emotions, relationships, choices, and ways of coping.
Steadiness
Build steadiness without losing sensitivity. Develop capacity to stay with what feels difficult, with less overwhelm, shutdown, or pull into old responses.
Choice
Create more space between what activates you and how you respond.
Over time, what once felt tangled, automatic, or overwhelming becomes something you can name, feel through, and relate to differently.
Book NowFor the Curious
We believe in equipping you with insight that strengthens your sense of agency. Our resources offer a thoughtful interlude for everyday life.
